Learning the Standing Heating Sequence
This Session · Part 1 of 3
Kaula Tantra Yoga is a meditative movement practice that invites the body and mind into a state of deep relaxation and clear awareness at the same time. It works gently yet precisely with the nervous system, supporting the parasympathetic response and allowing regeneration on a cellular level.
In this 60-minute session, we begin learning the Standing Heating Sequence, the first part of the Kaula Tantra Yoga practice. This sequence activates and warms the body, preparing it for deeper states of relaxation and inner perception. It represents the outward, active aspect of the practice and builds the foundation for the full series. With Curiosity, with openness, and a relaxed a*us.
Schedule & Structure
We meet once a week, every Wednesday from 5:00–6:00 pm via Zoom-Link (online/offline)
Weeks 1–6: Learning and refining the Standing Heating Sequence (60 min)
Weeks 7–12: Sessions expand to 90 minutes, integrating the standing sequence with extended Shavasana
After 12 weeks: Introduction of Makra Asana switches and weekend workshops, gradually opening the full Kaula Tantra Yoga sequence (3+ hours)
About the Practice
Kaula Tantra Yoga is a meditation in movement, sometimes described as a dance of energy. Where effort is replaced by listening. Breath awareness is central, movements are slow and conscious, and long phases of stillness allow the nervous system to settle deeply.
The practice is traditionally structured into three series:
Heating Series – activating and preparing the body
Tri Dosha Balancing Series – long Shava Asana for deep inward relaxation
Makra Asana Series – integrating inner awareness with outward presence
Guidance is given verbally and short, with respect for silence and individual experience. There is no physical adjustment or correction. The focus lies on self-perception, breath, and responding to what the body and mind need in the present moment.
This session is open to practitioners who are curious about a slower, deeper approach to yoga and meditation.
No prior experience required. Come as you are, be as you wish.
You can join the session through our WhatsApp group online.
